This trip to Iowa's State Wrestling Tournament found three of Vinton Shellsburg's top wrestlers fighting for the medals. On his first trip to the state competition, Brock Radeke was a state qualifier.

Vinton-Shellsburg's Luke and Brock Radeke, as well as Scott Betterton, are headed to Des Moines to compete in the Class 2A Wrestling meet. The will be the first time that Brock has competed at the state level but the 3rd time for Scott and Luke.

V-S Bowlers take on Waterloo Columbus

On Friday we competed against Waterloo Columbus and all teams were victorious.  The girl's high score for the Girls with Christina Harrelson with a 370 series and for the Boys Varsity was Cyrus Elwick with a 457 series and a 279 game.

Friday night we finally were able to have a meet and it was our senior night. I have 9 seniors and the night went smoothly.  The kids as always are getting better and they were so excited to be competing again after all the snow and weather issues.
