Storey Kenworthy Foundation for Giving 2021 Grant Recipients

The Storey Kenworthy Foundation for Giving is honored to announce the five recipients of the 2021 grant program in the amount of $5,000 each. These include:Hope Ministries, Des MoinesHouse of Hope, WaterlooIowa Homeless Youth Centers, Des MoinesIowa Safe Schools, Des MoinesSiouxland Mental Health, Sioux CityThese organizations were selected by Storey Kenworthy employees based on their applications and alignment with the core giving priorities outlined of Abuse & Violence Prevention; Children & Education; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; and Mental Health Awareness & Services.

Locally produced, award winning wines will be available for purchase at an Open House located at the Vinton Country Club. There will be a wine tasting at 6:00 p.m. in the upper lounge. The event will take place on Saturday, December 18 beginning at 5:00 p.m. and running until 9:00 p.m.The Vinton Country Club is located at 314 No. 9th Ave. in Vinton.

Tootsie's supports local Ambulance services

Both Tootsie's restaurant locations will be donating 10% of the sales on Friday, November 12 - Sunday, November 14, to their respective ambulance services.In Vinton, the North Benton proceeds will be utilized for training opportunities and the purchase of equipment.
