Senate Candidate Ivy Schuster to visit Van Horne
Ivy Schuster will make a stop in Van Horne on Tuesday, December 17th, where she'll officially announce her candidacy for State Senate to the constituents of Benton County. She will be at the Van Horne Community Center at 6:00 p.m. if you'd like to stop in and meet her.Her website can be seen here.

City reviews proposed plans to extend J Ave
As part of the plan to obtain the former Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School property, the city has taken several steps to make use of the land. One of the proposed projects is mapping out the future area. Part of that is building streets. The city is beginning to make those plans for J Avenue extending it from 9th to 13th St. The information concerning the needed work and estimate is below.
