Marjorie Lucille Feuerhelm, 92 of Shellsburg, died Thursday, June 16,
2022 at her home. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Grove Church,
Shellsburg by Pastor Matt Magee. Burial: Dunham Grove Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the
church, and at the church on Wednesday after 9:30 a.m. Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.

Luckey American Legion Post #57 and the Patriot Guard Riders.

Patricia “Pat” Ann (Schroeder) Cayton, age 88 passed away peacefully on June 13, 2022 at the Western Home, Martin Suites Center in Cedar Falls. Service of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Vinton, Iowa, with Pastor Stephen Preus officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church.
Ronald LeRoy Hunt
Ronald LeRoy Hunt, age 67, left this life on Sunday, May 1, 2022 in the woods at Red Brush, where he lived his solitary life, with his cats nearby. A celebration of life will be held to honor him on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 4:30 until 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Creek South Pavilion by the boat dock. He is survived by 2 children, Ronny Hunt of Marion, and Toni Hunt of Williamsburg; 6 grandchildren; brother Bill (Toodie) Hunt of Shellsburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Blake Edward Benson, 52, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, following a courageous battle with cancer.A celebration of Blake’s life will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton. Interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Vinton.

James “Jim” D. Kirk, 90, passed away peacefully at his rural Vinton residence on Saturday, June
11, 2022.

Jim was born June 21, 1931 at Vinton, the son of Albert and Mable (Jerolaman) Kirk. He attended school
in Vinton, graduating in 1949, and then attended Iowa State University earning a degree in agriculture.

Marilyn E. (Junge) Rieder, 90, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Keystone Nursing Care Center.Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Newhall, with the Rev. Craig Steimel as celebrant. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 17, also at the church. Memorials may be made in her name to the Newhall Library and the Newhall American Legion Auxiliary.
