Jacquelyn Marie Kinney, 76, of Vinton, Iowa passed away November 18, 2024, at UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cedar Memorial is assisting with arrangements. Jaci was born September 9, 1948, in Charles City, Iowa to Harlan and Margaret (Wagner) Schmidt. Jimmy Kearns was born at home on January 18, 1933. He grew up on a farm with his parents, Henry Archibald and Clementine Mae (Carter) Kearns.Jim proudly served during the Korean War for four years in the US Navy. Jim was a hard worker and a good provider. A man of many talents, there was little he couldn't fix or do. When no conventional solution was available, he found one for himself. Coletta D. Duane Robert Konicek, 89 of Belle Plaine, IA passed away at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo, Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Duane was born August 14, 1935 in Clutier, IA the son of John R. and Rose (Stahr) Konicek. He grew up in Elberon before moving with his family to Belle Plaine, where graduated from Belle Plaine High School. Following school, he was drafted into the United States Army, which he served during the Korean Conflict.
