Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with the funeral service to immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

She was born April 16, 1944, in Vinton, Iowa. Mary was the third child out of four and leaves behind her only living sister Linda Sutherland (We all love you Aunt Linda). She left behind her spouse Dennis Thorn and their four children Rebecca, Debbie, Jeff, and Connie.

William Richard Huggins, 85, of Atkins, Iowa, passed away on April 26, 2021, at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.Bill led an incredibly full life. A loving husband, wise father, loyal brother, and proud grandfather, Bill was a wonderful storyteller. Whether it was sitting among family and friends or fishing with anyone willing to join along, his keen mind and quick wit entertained multiple generations.

Lawrence "Larry" McDonald passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, at the age of 87.He is survived by three children, Kevin of Burns, Wyoming, Shawn of Cedar Rapids and Michelle (Shelly) and husband Donald Tuttle of Urbana/Center Point; five grandchildren, Beth, Joshua, Dustin, Nicole and Daren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita (Elliott) Driscoll of Williamsburg and Margaret Yates of Sigourney; and a sister-in-law, Pauline McDonald of Cedar Rapids.

Brent Lee Willcoxson, 61, of Urbana, Iowa, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Per Brent's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield, Iowa. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion is assisting the family.
Tom J. Sima Jr.
Tom J. Sima Jr., 67, passed away January 16, 2021.Born Sept. 9, 1953, in Center Point, Iowa, as one of four boys, he graduated from Vinton High School. After working for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids following high school, he continued his career in South Florida, later returning to Marengo to run one of the two family Goodyear Tire stores. In later years, Tom joined other family members in the Indianapolis area, where he was living at his time of death.
