Vinton—Alfred C. Gustafson, age 93, died peacefully Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the Keystone Nursing Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Daubs officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Carl T. Busch
Carl T. Busch, 88, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at his home in Blairstown. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown, with Pastor Mike Musick officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Blairstown. Friends may call at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Darlene M. Williams Yerkes, 87, died June 22, 2011, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. Due to the severe storm in Vinton, her memorial service at the First Baptist Church has been canceled. Friends may join her family at 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton for her Committal Service conducted by Pastor Zach Zajicek.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at River of Life Church in Cedar Rapids, with Pastors Steve Irwin and Brian Fink officiating. VINTON: Billy Mountain Craig (Red Horse Mountain), 78 of Vinton died Monday, June 27, 2011 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton.
Billy Mountain Craig was born October 29th 1932. He went home to be with Jesus Monday the 27th after a courageous battle with health issues. He was a patient at Virginia Gay Hospital at the time of his death.
