Susan Gail Valenta, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2022 at the Keystone Care Center with her family by her side. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone, Iowa, followed by the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Rev. David Lingard will be officiating.

Sandra Yvonne Wickwire, 83, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away, November 7, 2022 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.Sandra was born June 27, 1939 to Milo and Marie (Butterfield) Ealy in Marengo, IA. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1958. On May 10, 1958, Sandra married Alan C. Wickwire at Christ United Methodist Church, Belle Plaine. Together they started their family in Belle Plaine, while Sandra worked for the Grocery Store.

Dennis Vargas and Fr. Andy Upah as concelebrants.
Cynthia (Benson) Blackburn
Cynthia Louise Benson was born on September 5, 1955, in Waukon, Iowa. She was the first of 6 children born to William and Lois (Hertrampf) Benson. The family moved to Vinton in the early 60's where Cindy grew up, attended school, and graduated in 1974. She traveled to Minnesota to further her education as a Veterinarian's Assistant, a trade she loved and worked in for years after returning to Vinton.
