Viking Wrestling Club October 10, 2023
The Viking Wrestling club is designed to help area youth improve their wrestling skills, be part of a team, and build a foundation for future wrestling activities. There will be several optional opportunities throughout the year to attend tournaments and dual meets across Iowa in preparation for AAU and Super Pee Wee District and State competitions.

Special Olympics Iowa Hosts Inaugural Fall Classic September 29 and 30
~The tournament is open to the public, and admission is free~ Athletes and Unified partners from across the state will assemble in West Des Moines on September 29 and 30 to compete in the Special Olympics Iowa Fall Classic. The Fall Classic will feature over 600 athletes competing in volleyball, pickleball, flag football, equestrian, and Unified golf.
Benton County Speedway Bullring Lil Racer Car Club closes its season this Sunday
Kids, stop by the Lil Racer Car Club at Benton County Speedway this Sunday and help us get ready for next Spring 2024, our 19th year in business. Color a picture and take home a trophy, enjoy a free juice pouch, grab a racing flag and/or a stuffed animal of your choice. Be sure to also grab some freezer pops, as we will be shutting it off after the races are over.

Sprint Invaders highlight Labor Day weekend action at The Bullring
The Sprint Invaders are back! For the second time this season, the Sprint Invaders are set to take on the quarter-mile Benton County Speedway during the Labor Day Spectacular Sunday, September 3. Cody Wehrle of Burlington topped a 21 car field of 360 Sprints at The Bullring during the first appearance by the Sprint Invaders this season on July 2.

Rust wraps up track title in victory lane at Benton County Speedway
Season and track champions were crowned Sunday night in the final night of IMCA Weekly Racing for the 2023 season at Benton County Speedway. And Joel Rust earned a double celebration at The Bullring. Rust, who entered the night with a 15 point lead in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by Beaty Excavating, simply needed to take the green flag in the main event to lock up the title.
