  The Vinton-Shellsburg Red Cedar Shooters trap shooting team have won their last 2 home meets.   On Saturday, April 27, the Red Cedar Shooters hosted the Cedar Rapids Kennedy and Sigourney trap shooting teams at the Red Cedar Izaak Walton Chapter.

  Lauren Tandy led the Vinton-Shellsburg girls golf team for the first time in her career, shooting a 45 as the Vikettes finished second in a home invitational tournament against Williamsburg, West Delaware and Independence, Friday at the Vinton County Club.

  Erin Randall led the Vikings with a 42, and lost for the medalist honors only through a tie-breaker, as she led the Vinton-Shellsburg golfers to a win at the West Delaware Tournament Monday in Manchester.
