Tim Bird welcomed the Vinton Unlimited members to his Peppy's ice cream shop on 4th Street near the Vinton Palace on Friday evening. Visitors enjoyed soup, along with crackers and cheese from the Cheesehead store, which is opening later this week. Virginia Gay Hospital Physicians to speak on cancer at national conference
Dr. Brian Meeker, medical director of Virginia Gay Hospital & Clinics, is presenting several unusual cases of colon cancer at the Annual meeting of the American Association For Primary Care Endoscopy. This year’s meeting is in Memphis Tennessee. Dr. Meeker is on the Board of Directors for the AAPCE and this is the third year in a row he has made presentations.
