Hobart Historic Restoration plans to submit a Notice of Intent to the Iowa Department of Natural
Resources to be covered under the NPDES General Permit No. 2 “Storm Water Discharge Associated
with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities”.
The storm water discharge will be from construction of a residential and commercial subdivision,
including utility and street construction, and site grading, located in the NE ¼, Section 20, T85N, R10W,
City of Vinton, Benton County, Iowa.

Benton County Unofficial Primary Election Results
UPDATE: Expect a recount on the Republican side of the aisle. In the race for State Senator District 42.Colman Silbernagel came in with 938 votes in Benton County and 576 in Linn County giving him the lead with 1,514 votes. Charlie McClintock had 413 in Vinton and 1,099 votes in Linn County bringing his total to 1,512.I expect that this race will face a recount.
