Goals for Vinton Today as we Prepare our New Website

Our annual fund drive is drawing to an end. We want to thank all the donors who have contributed so generously. Many of our regular contributors gave again this year and your support is very much appreciated. If you’ve considered sending in a few bucks but just haven’t gotten around to it, here’s something to think about. As a result of the very strong support we’ve received over the years, we have adopted new and very ambitious goals.

Celebrate the Economic Development in Benton County

Economic Development Week will be celebrated in Benton County and Iowa’s Creative Corridor May 8th - May 14th.  Economic development happens year round in our communities, mostly behind the scenes.  This will be a week dedicated to building awareness for the work of economic developers and the opportunities that are created through the work of community leaders and volunteers that contribute to greater economic development.

(Hi Kathy :) We talked about changing the look, but not too extreme so that Virginia Gay Hospital wouldn't have a run on cardiac patients, but enough to make it look new and fresh, and all uptowny.
