Larry E. Hopper, 75, of Toledo, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Chaplain Harlan Nuss officiating. Ruth Adele Lattimer, 84, of Vinton, Iowa passed away Wednesday October 24, 2012 at the Windsor Manor in Vinton. As were her wishes, she will be cremated. There will be a service and meal on December 2nd at 3:00pm at the Iowa Braille Site Saving School cafeteria, 1002 G Avenue, Vinton, Iowa.
Ruth is survived by one sister, Ima Jean Smalley of Vinton, IA; one brother, Dale Franklin of Naples, FL; two foster children she and Lester raised, Vicky and Gary Kruse, both of Des Moines, IA; and many nieces and nephews. Helen Margaret Curran Schrader
Helen Margaret Curran Schrader died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at the Vinton Lutheran Home. Born on Aug. 29, 1912, she celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends this past August.
