VINTON: Harold R. Flickinger, 83, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a sudden illness.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vinton with Rev. Stephen K. Preus officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton with Graveside Military Rites conducted by Geo. Gary J. Pieper
Gary J. Pieper, 65, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Manor Care in Cedar Rapids, following an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Pastor David V. Miller will officiate. Verona L. Stumma, 77, of Brandon, Iowa died Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.
Verona was born on March 26, 1935, near Shady Grove, the daughter of Keith M. and Leola P. (Bearbower) Stumma. She graduated from the Washington High School, Vinton, in 1953 and later from Pitzies Cosmetology School in Waterloo. Philip H. Gallo

MARION: Winifred Malvine Bulicek, 99, formerly of Marion, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday November 25 at Colonial Manor in Amana. She is survived by her son Jake (Pam) Bulicek, grandson Ryan (Nicki) Bulicek, granddaughter Keri (Holly) Goddard, as well as great-grandchildren Rylee, Ashlenn, Samantha, Maddenn, Alexander, Caleb, and Wayne, and her niece Kristyna Demaree. Public Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton.Friends may call at Phillips Family Center, 605 2nd Ave. in Vinton from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Monday.
She is survived by two sisters, Carol Huster of Vinton and Marianne Franks of Cedar Rapids; her nephew, Raymond Huster of Vinton; and her niece, Becky Franks of Cedar Rapids.
