(Mary) Yvonne Livingston Fischer was born August 16, 1926, in Iowa City, Iowa, to W. Ross and Zella Livingston. Yvonne passed away on January 14, 2024.Yvonne graduated from the University Experimental High School in Iowa City, the University of Iowa in 1947 with a BA in Economics, and the University of Iowa in 1960 with an MA in Social Studies. Some of her many honors included Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Lambda Delta (freshman honorary), Mortar Board and Pi Lambda Theta. Eleanor Mae Grieder
Eleanor Mae Grieder, 87, of Shellsburg, IA passed away January 16, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA. Eleanor was born May 27, 1936 to Carroll and Esther (Tesar) Miller in Belle Plaine. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School, class of 1954. Eleanor married her high school sweetheart Richard Grieder on June 26, 1955 at Christ United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine. Kendra Lynne Thorgaard, 64, passed away on May 31, 2023 after a heroic and unflinching 6 year battle with cardiac sarcoidosis, metastatic bile duct cancer and chronic myelogenous leukemia. She was born August 22, 1958 to Tom and Betty (Stueck) Wilson in Vinton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by both her parents. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Greg Thorgaard; two daughters, Heather Thorgaard of Chicago, Illinois and Samantha (Andrew) Spicer of Austin, Texas; one son, Erik (Reagan) Thorgaard of St.
