Albert D. Moore Jr., age 62, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at his home in Vinton.A Celebration of Albert’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.Albert was born on July 29, 1961 in Muscatine, the son of Albert Daniel and Florence (Hubbard) Moore Sr. Albert had worked as a house painter, in housekeeping at Super 8 and Holliday Inn Hotels and at the Vinton Family Restaurant prior to his retirement. Sidney “Sid” Lee Mabb, 65, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away following a battle with Lung cancer, August 15, 2023 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care, Belle Plaine, while under the care of Essence of Life Hospice.Sid was a hard worker. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years operating Mabb Automotive. He later worked for Roggentien Salvage, and worked as a farm hand. Orville Glen Nitcher

The family will host a Celebration of Life beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at Rivers Edge Christian Church, 1247 Cedar Bend St., Waterloo, IA 50703. Military Honors provided by Waverly American Legion and Waverly Marine Corps League following the church service will be at Harlington Cemetery, 8th Avenue SW, Waverly, IA 50677.

Dale William Schluter, 90, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11th, 2023 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care following a short illness. Dale was born in Koszta, Iowa on December 1st, 1932 to Henry William and Anna Mary (Chekal) Schluter. He enjoyed growing up on their family farm in Koszta and sharing memories of his childhood.
