Surrounded by his loving family, Wade Glenn Henkel, 58, passed away at his home Thursday, August 24, 2023, following a lengthy illness. A Celebration of Life will be held 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Celebration Park, Vinton. David J. Davis, 78, passed away peacefully October 3, 2023 at his home in Mesa, Arizona. He was born June 6, 1945 in Vinton, Iowa to Glenn “Jiggs” and Martha J.(Garwood) Davis.He graduated from Washington High School, Vinton, in 1963. He served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1968. Yolanda (Landy) Sue Atencio, 41, of Vinton, IA, passed into glory with full assurance of faith in Jesus Christ, October 7, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA, surrounded and dearly loved by her family. Janet Elaine Prusha, 83, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away October 6, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, IA.Janet was born June 1, 1940 on the family farm south of Belle Plaine to Leo and Violet (Stanek) Formanek. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.Jack was born on May 5, 1931, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Harry and Irene Read. He graduated from Central Collegiate High School and went on to attend Monmouth College (Illinois) and finished school at the University of Iowa Dental School.
