The bags feature the customer's favorite caramel corn, regular popcorn or microwave popcorn and M&M's, melocream pumpkins and spider rings. We are very glad that everyone is reviewing their insurance policies. We ask you to do this every time you get your renewals but if we are honest, most people toss that insurance envelope into a drawer and hope it has whatever they need IF something major happens.

Local ag producers encouraged to sign up for free S.T.A.R. program
Two critical conservation practices – managing nutrient loss and
protecting soil fr om water run-off – can greatly enhance the
future of Benton County ag production and help better position
farmers in the expanding sustainability marketplace. Today, the
Benton Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) introduces a new
program that assists local ag producers who want to target best
conservation practices for their operation.

FAREWAY AND DEAN SNYDER PARTNER TO BUILD STORM SHELTERS
Mid-Iowa Council, Boy Scouts of America recently partnered with
Fareway and Dean Snyder Construction for two storm shelters to be built at Mitigwa Scout
Reservation. Each company committed to fully fund the cost of one storm shelter, an approximate
value of $40,000.
“Our top priority is the safety of our Scouts. As the only Scout summer camp open in Iowa this year
we are extremely proud that we hosted nearly one thousand boys and girls and adult leaders for an
exciting and safe outdoor experience without any COVID cases,” said Matt Hill, Scout Executive /
CEO of Mid-Iowa Council.
