David J. Davis, 78, passed away peacefully October 3, 2023 at his home in Mesa, Arizona. He was born June 6, 1945 in Vinton, Iowa to Glenn “Jiggs” and Martha J.(Garwood) Davis.He graduated from Washington High School, Vinton, in 1963. He served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1968. Yolanda (Landy) Sue Atencio, 41, of Vinton, IA, passed into glory with full assurance of faith in Jesus Christ, October 7, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA, surrounded and dearly loved by her family. Janet Elaine Prusha, 83, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away October 6, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, IA.Janet was born June 1, 1940 on the family farm south of Belle Plaine to Leo and Violet (Stanek) Formanek. George Lewis Thacker Jr., age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunay, October 8, 2023, at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, with his loving family by his side.Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Maplewood Cemetery in Vinton.
