Chris “Zippy” Lynn Lippincott, 60, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away January 23, 2023 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.Chris was born December 7, 1962 in Marengo, IA to Charles Harvey and Sylvia E. (Wilson) Lippincott. In his youth he moved with his family to Buffalo, MO and eventually back to Belle Plaine where he attend Belle Plaine High School.Chris worked on Motorcycles which he learned from his older brother, Jeff.
Beverly A. McCardle
Beverly A. McCardle, 88 years old, of Brandon, Iowa, died on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at her home. She was born at the family farm in Brandon on December 1, 1934, the daughter of George Easom and Vivian Marie (Bassett) Peck. She graduated from high school in Brandon with the Class of 1952. On April 4, 1954, she and John McCardle were married in Independence, Iowa.

Ralph Gary Miller, 77, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Newhall. Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation at Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Ralph Gary Miller was born April 11, 1945 to parents Ralph and Gloria (Willman) Miller. He grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, living with his maternal grandmother, Stella Willman, near his mother and three younger siblings.

Linda Charlene Mahr, 78, of Shellsburg, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life services will be at a later date. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the First Christian Church, Vinton, with Pastor Richard Jumper officiating. On Christmas 2022 while in her sleep, he took back Jan Novak, one of his earth angels.Jan was born Janice Marie George to Darrell and Virginia George on Oct. 30, 1946, in Shenandoah, Iowa. Her parents moved to Shellsburg, Iowa, and Jan graduated from Shellsburg High School in 1964.
Newton Charles Waggoner
Newton Charles Waggoner, of Dysart, passed away peacefully at his home on January 17, 2023. Newt was born December 16, 1928, in Urbana Township, Illinois, the son of James and Elsie (Fitch) Waggoner. He served in the Air Force from 1945 through 1949. Newt married his sweetheart, Nellie Kirby, in August 1949. They raised seven sons and a daughter and made their home, for the most part, in Rockford, Illinois area.
