Susan “Sue” Kay Crawford
Susan “Sue” Kay Crawford was born on July 24, 1954, in Waterloo, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Kopriva) Kriz. Sue attended Dysart-Geneseo High School and graduated in 1972. While in high school, she was very active in many sports. On October 27, 1973, Sue was united in marriage to Rick Crawford. The couple made their home in Dysart where they raised their family. The Studer and Stodola families sorrowfully announce the passing of their son, fiancé, brother, and uncle, Erik Studer. Erik, 26, died on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 following a pulmonary embolism. Loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Bonnitta (Bonnie) J. Johnston, 79, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully after a long battle with heart and lung disease on February 16, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, with her niece Monica at her side. Howard Deloye Corum, 83, of Van Horne, formerly of Shellsburg and Central City, passed on April 6, 2023. Howard will be cremated and interred at Cedar Memorial with a later time with a small graveside service.Howard was born to Edward and Theresa (Ralston) Corum on Dec. 16 1939, in Marion, Iowa. Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Pickart, 95, of Norway, IA passed away April 7, 2023 at Compass Memorial, Marengo, IA.Betty was born September, 28, 1927 to Arthur and Emma (Broz) Kuen on the family farm in rural Iowa county. She attended Norway High School. On April 13, 1948, Betty married Theodell “Ted” Pickart at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Norway.
