 Marilyn Ann Wolfe, age 91, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the Gardens of Cedar Rapids.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton.  Interment will be held at Urbana Memorial Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, also at the funeral home.

Richard “Dick” Feuerhelm, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at his Vinton home with his family by his side.A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Dick & Beulah’s home in Vinton, 1316 W. 1st Street.Dick was born on June 21, 1943 in California.  He served his Country in the United States Navy from, 1960 until 1964, aboard the U.

Donna Mae Dietze, 80, of Marengo, IA (formerly of Belle Plaine, IA) passed away August 27, 2023 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care. Donna was born July 21, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Benhart and Hilda (Rethman) Knipp. She is survived by her children, Dean (Mimi) Lawthers of Marshalltown, Steve (Jo) Sauer of Rochester, MN, Rick Dietze of Cedar Rapids, Betty (Steve) Vislisel and Sandy (Dave) Robertson both of Blairstown; sister Norma Gould of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Justin (Rachel) and Cole (Taylor) Williams, Kyle Bracy, Kelsi Bringmann, Hannah Sauer, Amber and Beth Lawthers, David (Lynnette) Dietze, Ashley Dietze, Ava Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Edwin and Lillian Williams and Kinley and Ellie Williams, Leea and Emma Harwick.

Wanda Lee Michelson, 88, of Manchester, Iowa, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2023, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester. Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, August 29, at 10 a.m. with additional visitation from 9 to 10 a.

Daniel Dennis Mahoney, 90, formally of Toddville, Iowa died Friday August 25, 2023 at Virginia Gay Nursing Home in Vinton Iowa.Dan was born in Independence Iowa on September 28th, 1932. Dan was the son of Daniel and Velma (Postel) Mahoney.  Private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Dan is survived by his four children Daniel (Donna) Mahoney of Elkland MO, Pam (Barry) Mahoney of Cedar Rapids, Valerie (Jeff) Bervid of Shellsburg Iowa, Dennis (Sharon) Mahoney of Columbia MO.

Harold D. Allen, 88 years old of Jesup, IA, died surrounded by his family, Thursday, August 24, 2023, at ABCM Rehabilitation Center-West, Independence, IA.Public visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA.Family graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup, IA.

Harold Robert Hild, 90, of Alamo, TX, passed away on August 3, 2023. Harold was born on October 24, 1932, in rural Black Hawk County near the Eagle Center Catholic Church to Dale and Alice (Yarrow) Hild. He attended country school, grade school in La Porte City and Evansdale and high school at Geneseo, East Waterloo, Gilbertville and graduated from La Porte City High School in 1950.

Roger William Bries, 88, formerly of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on August 23, 2023, at Mercy One Senior Care in Dyersville, Iowa. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 3 to 7 p.m. with a Scripture Service beginning 2:30 p.m. at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Mass of Christian will be held 11 a.

Surrounded by his loving family, Wade Glenn Henkel, 58, passed away at his home following a lengthy illness. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home is caring for the family.Wade was born March 16, 1965, in Vinton, the son of David and Judy (Henkle) Henkel. He attended school in Vinton, graduating in 1983.

Rosemary Sue (Phillips) Primus, age 73, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at her home in Urbana, following a sudden illness.A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton.Rosemary was born on February 15, 1950, in Vinton, IA, the daughter of Donald and Bessie (Van Fossen) Phillips.
