Stormin' Vikings sink Raiders on Senior Night

   By Rob Levis, Head Swimming Coach    The Vinton-Shellsburg Stormin' Viking swimmers closed out their home season Monday with a dual meet win over Williamsburg Our guys swam really well,  On the evening we had 41 new personal best times led by Isaac Allsup and Bradyn Schlief with four each.

OT heartbreaker for Vikings, fall to CCA, 70-62

It was another heartbreaker for Coach Joe Johnson's Vinton-Shellsburg boys' basketball team Tuesday, as for the second night in a row the Vikings dropped an overtime toughie, falling this time to Clear Creek-Amana, 70-62 in a game that was truly a tale of two halves.

IMCA junior national championship announced for 2020

IMCA’s first junior national champion will be crowned in 2020.      Drivers between the ages of 13 and 18 in all eight IMCA divisions will compete for the title, with point standings to be based on the best 20 finishes in their first 40 starts.
