Reynolds Announces nearly $9 Million to Assist Low-Income Iowans
Governor Reynolds today announced that a total of nearly $9 million in assistance is available to assist eligible low-income Iowans who are at imminent risk of eviction and individuals who have lost housing to quickly regain housing stability. The funding will also provide support for homeless shelter operations. The funds are made available through a supplemental appropriation to the Emergency Solutions Grant program through the federal CARES Act.
City of Vinton seeks to hire Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Official
The City of Vinton is accepting applications for a Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Official with knowledge of construction and building trades. The position includes inspections of new construction and enforcement of the City’s property maintenance codes. Qualified applicants will have good customer service skills including good written and verbal communication skills.

Gerhold Appointed Vice Chair of Budget Subcommittee
